I’m sitting in a hall
Watching other students walk by
Some are very beautiful,
They sicken me,

Not because I can’t attain them
But they are all not worth attaining,
Maybe some,
But doubtful,

These halls are hollow,
With women like communism
Only perfect in theory,
Idolatry will kill you many times over,

A great man once said,
“sometimes you get so alone, that at times it just makes sense”
But great men sometimes are wrong,
Most are,

I want to watch the world die,
A quiet death,
A beautiful death,
Like the flower.

A little saddening, but I can relate. Most people just aren't worth the effort or energy. And yet, we still pine and sigh heavily and trudge on.

A side note.... Once the world dies, then all the fun will begin. :dance:

One of the traits I like about myself is that no matter how lonely I get, I don't get desperate, I won't date anyone just to be with someone. So trudge on I must.

When I was younger I was desperate like that. There are people I think back to and literally feel nauseaus. But after too many bad experiences (I found out that a number of my boyfriends actually slept with the girl I thought was my bestfriend because I was a "good girl" and didn't want to have sex at 14...) I got a lot more picky.

However... I will say that at this point, I think I set my standards too high. There are maybe three people of everyone I know whom I would consider being with. Two if you don't count Jon, since I'm obviously already with him.
